- The 1/26/95 issue of TV Technology magazine has a nice article about
- the Amiga, titled "Amiga Computers...They're Baaack" by Terence Dyke &
- Paul Smolen (email address: media-methods@tpoint.com).
- It's a big article leading off the Destop Video section of the magazine.
- It gives a fair description of Escom' buyout of CBM (though it got the $$$
- wrong), and the Amiga' subsequent recovery, and plans for the future. It
- says "So far, it looks like Escom is doing everything right.". It is very
- upbeat and emphasized the web access potential of the Amiga based net
- solutions possible " Schmitt may have put his company on the front side of
- a major trend.". It then goes on to describe various other efforts at the
- net top box.
